The Town of Dayton requires a permit to access or modify driveways connecting to town roads. The Waupaca County Highway Department reviews and approves all activities that would affect any County road or highway in Waupaca County. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation reviews and approves all activities that would affect State Road 22 including access, right-of-ways, or compatible adjacent land uses. Such activities might include installation or modification of a culvert, installation or modification of a driveway or any other excavation or filling activity that occurs in the highway or road right-of-way.
