Land Use and Zoning is the responsibility of the Waupaca County Planning and Zoning Department. Planning and Zoning defines neighborhood designations such as commercial, residential and agricultural, and it also defines more specific land use designations such as sanitary, mining, floodplain and shoreland. Land use permit applications and variance requests are handled by Planning and Zoning, and they also enforce the Planning and Zoning regulations and building regulations. Any concern about zoning or building code violations or building safety should be communicated to the Planning and Zoning department.
