Utility outages or unusual smells can signal very dangerous conditions that are a significant risk to life. It is very important that outages, unusual smells and downed power lines be reported as soon as possible to avoid injury. Any outage should be reported to the utility that is providing the service. In addition, any observed risk such as a downed power line should be reported to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department, or by calling 911.
